Swell bumps up surf along North Shore

Advertiser Staff

North Shore surfers can enjoy surf 5 feet to 7 feet today, compliments of a short-period northwest swell that's passing through.

The National Weather Service said a series of small south swells is also continuing to traverse the Islands this week, keeping surf along south shores in the 3- to 5-foot range.

Surf along west shores will be 2 feet to 4 feet, while surf along east shores will be 1 foot to 3 feet.

Looking ahead, a slightly more significant northwest swell is expected to arrive and peak Sunday before tapering off Monday night.
