Call-to-action meeting against underage drinking today

More than 100 agencies and officials who can play roles in curbing underage drinking will be guests at a call-to-action meeting today hosted by Lt. Governor James "Duke" Aiona and Acting U.S. Surgeon General Kenneth Moritsugu.

The meeting is from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Washington Place. Aiona is the co-chair of the Leadership to Keep Children Alcohol Free Foundation.

Guests include university researchers, healthcare providers, Department of Health officials, policymakers, law enforcement personnel, educators, youth, parents and others.
