The T&C Surf 10th annual Grom Contest is taking entries for its event June 16 and 17 in Waikiki.
The contest will be held at Queen's surf break.
This year's format gives surfers age 14 and younger the chance to show off their skills at one of the south shore's premier breaks.
Keiki can compete in three divisions longboard, shortboard and bodyboard in three age divisions.
On Saturday, the contest will feature the "Hot 100 Air Invitational," sponsored by Surfer magazine. Cash prizes will go to the top four overall.
On Sunday, the "Expression Session" will feature a special, limited-entry tandem keiki/parent division. This event is open to all adults and children under age 10.
Cost is $25 to enter per division by June 8, $35 at the beach. Lunch will be provided by Subway. All entrants receive a free T-shirt and goodie bags from sponsors.
Up-and-coming surfers Coco Ho, Kekoa Cazimero, Ezekiel Lau and Lani Hunter have all honed their skills at past T&C Surf grom contests.
