A brushfire ignited five to 10 acres of land behind Kahuku Hospital this afternoon, but the flames are not a threat to the building or the surrounding area, according to the Honolulu Fire Department."It's moving mauka, so it's not threatening the hospital at all," said Capt. Frank Johnson, HFD spokesman.
Four engines, four water tankers and the HFD helicopter were still at the scene around 5 p.m., Johnson said.
