Chef Ed Kenney opens new eatery in museum Tuesday

Advertiser Staff

The Hawai'i State Art Museum is poised to become Honolulu's hot lunch ticket. On Tuesday chef Ed Kenney, who owns Town in Kaimuki, brings his talents to Downtown, his new cafe in the museum.

Sit inside or al fresco by the swimming pool. Expect Kenney's trademark Island ingredients prepared with a Mediterranean twist. The cafe will serve breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. Mondays to Fridays and lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays. Now in the works: a museum gift shop and information center.
