Punahou ranked No. 25 in USA Today baseball poll

State baseball champion Punahou is ranked No. 25 in the latest USA Today's high school baseball Super 25, released yesterday.

The ranking is compiled by USA Today's Christopher Lawlor.

Seton Hall Prep of West Orange, N.J., is ranked No. 1 with a 26-1 record.

The Buffanblu were ranked No. 9 in the West by USA Today. Horizon (31-3) of Scottsdale, Ariz., was No. 1 in the West.

Punahou, which won its fourth title in a row, defeated Pearl City, 7-1, and finished the regular and postseason with a 17-1 record.

The Buffanblu were ranked No. 19 in this week's Student Sports National Fab 50.
