HSN expands shopping program after success in Hawai'i

HSN's said its Shop by Remote trials in Hawai'i and New York have produced favorable results and that it is expanding the service to more than 12 million DISH Network satellite TV subscribers.DISH Network subscribers with an ITV-enabled set-top box can make purchases from HSN with just a few clicks of their remote controls under the service.
"HSN is excited to partner with DISH Network for the national launch of Shop by Remote," said Peter Ruben, Executive Vice President of Affiliate Sales & Marketing for HSN in a news release.
"Our initial trials of Shop by Remote in the New York/tri-state area and Hawaii have generated very favorable results, signaling the great potential this service has as customers across the country now experience it."
