Kamehameha alum Chun finishes 18th at NCAA golf

Stanford's Mari Chun, a Kamehameha alum, shot a 1-under-par 71 today to finish tied for 18th at the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championship at Daytona Beach, Fla.

Christel Boeljon of Purdue shot a 69 and finished at 3-under 210 for a five-stroke victory over USC's Paola Moreno. Chun finished at 225.

Arizona's Amanda Wilson, a Waiakea graduate, shot a 75—226 and was tied for 27th.

Idaho's Kelly Nakashima, a Baldwin alum, finished tied with a 78-236.
