Kamehameha alum Chun finishes 17th at NCAA golf

Stanford's Mari Chun, a Kamehameha alum, shot a final-round 2-over-par 74 and finished tied for 17th today at the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championship at the LPGA International Legends Course in Daytona Beach, Fla.

Stacy Lewis of Arkansas shot a 66 and won with a 6-under 282. Chun finished at 299.

Waiakea alum Amanda Wilson of Arizona shot a 77 and finished tied for 34th at 303.

Baldwin alum Kelly Nakashima of Idaho shot a 78 and finished tied for 87th at 314.

Duke won the team title.

An article in today's Advertiser mistakenly said the tournament ended on Thursday.
