County officials will try for a fourth time to auction off a one-acre commercially zoned lot in the business district along Henry Street in Kailua.

The county acquired the parcel in a deal with a developer when Henry Street was being planned and built, but so far has been unable to sell the property.

The county set an upset price of $950,000 for the land, which is near the Jamba Juice and Starbucks Coffee businesses.

The auction will be at 10 a.m. July 12 in the West Hawai'i Liquor Control Office.
