KALAELOA
'Open cockpit' day at Kalaeloa

Open Cockpit Day takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow at Naval Air Museum Barbers Point near Kalaeloa Airport's Building 1792.

The museum will highlight aircraft of the Vietnam era in observance of Memorial Day weekend.

Members of the museum's Boys Scouts of America Venture Crew, a 25th Infantry Division Living History Unit, volunteers and staff will present a Vietnam-era airbase flight line complete with a replica aid station that will include a "Dustoff" Huey helicopter.

Admission is $5 for adults, $2 for those under 18.

Four aircraft will be open for the public to visit and sit in.
