North-facing shores could see surf of 3 to 5 feet today

Today's forecast calls for surf of 3 to 5 feet along north-facing shores, 2 to 4 feet along east-facing shores and 1 to 3 feet along south- and west-facing shores.A series of small south swells will persist into the new work week, according to the National Weather Service.
