Weather looks good for the rest of the weekend

A ridge of high pressure north of the islands will keep the light to moderate trades flowing for the next couple of days, according to the National Weather Service.Clouds and showers carried by the winds will affect mainly the windward and mauka areas, forecasters said.
The ridge is expected to weaken and move closer to the islands early next week when a couple of low-pressure troughs pass to the north.
The trades will decrease in response.
