It's all about ocean awareness at today's E Malama I Ke Kai (Care for the Ocean) festival, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Kapi'olani Park and bandstand.

Expect to find ocean exhibits, local experts, food booths, keiki rides and activities and entertainment by Hoku Zuttermeister, Kaumaka'iwa Kanaka'ole, Weldon Kekauoha and others.

Admission to the festival, benefitting the nonprofit Hawaiian-language immersion program Punana Leo Kawaiaha'o, is free.
