HONOLULU — The state Department of Transportation advises Oahu motorists of lane closures in both directions on Ala Moana Boulevard from Punchbowl Street to Keawe Street on Tuesday night, May 29, through Friday morning, June 1, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly, for pavement saw-cutting and trenching for the installation of street lighting and traffic signal conduits.

In addition, 24-hour lane closures are scheduled from 8 p.m. on Friday night, June 1, through 5 a.m., Monday morning, June 4.  One to two right-most lanes will be closed on Ala Moana Boulevard in the westbound direction from Punchbowl Street to Richards Street for the construction of new concrete bus pads.

Motorists are advised to use caution while driving through the work area and to allow for extra travel time.
