Keys, Higa to head Radford basketball teams

Radford High School has named Wayne Keys varsity boys basketball head coach and Tani Higa varsity girls basketball head coach.Keys, who played at Brigham Young University-Hawai'i, takes over for Kai Enos, who stepped down in April after guiding the Rams to the O'ahu Interscholastic Association playoffs in each of his seven seasons. Radford advanced to the state tournament this past season, losing in overtime to Moanalua in the quarterfinals.
Higa coached Radford's JV boys to the 2004 OIA championship and was an assistant to Enos this past season. She takes over for David Lane, who stepped down on May 18 for health reasons after six successful seasons, including a 63-20 record in the regular and postseason and four OIA Western Division championships.
The Rams advanced to the state quarterfinals this season.
