West O'ahu public schools have been given a combined $150,000 by the James Campbell Co. to help them support their technology needs.

Checks were presented to the school principals at Campbell's recent Kapolei Outstanding Achievement Awards.

Receiving donations were Kapolei High and Kapolei Middle ($30,000 each); Kapolei, Barbers Point, Makakilo and Mauka Lani elementaries ($15,000 each); and Campbell High, Nana-kuli High and Intermediate, and Wai'anae High ($10,000 each).

The James Campbell Co. and its affiliates have given more than $13 million to charities over the past decade.
