Light trade winds expected through the week

Sunny skies are on tap today, with highs near 85 degrees and 10 mph east winds, according to the National Weather Service. Light trade winds are expected for most of the week throughout the Islands, with clouds and possible showers mainly in Windward and mountain areas.

  • Tonight — Mostly clear, with a low of about 71 degrees. East winds between 8 mph and 10 mph.

  • Tomorrow — Partly cloudy, with a high near 85. East winds, 13 mph.

  • Tomorrow night — Mostly clear, with a low near 72 degrees. East winds, 9 mph.

  • Thursday — Partly cloudy, with a high near 84. East winds, 10 mph to 13 mph.

  • Thursday night — Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a low near 71 degrees. East winds, 8 mph. Chance of rain: 20 percent.

  • Friday — Isolated showers before 10 a.m. Partly cloudy, with a high near 86 degrees. East winds, 8 mph. Chance of rain: 20 percent.

  • Friday night — A 20 percent chance of showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 71 degrees. East winds, 9 mph.
