Kaua'i botanical garden to get solar energy system

Open Energy to Provide GreenSource Solutions With 29.81 kW Solar BIPV System for National Tropical Botanical Gardens, Hawaii

SOLANA BEACH, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 29, 2007 -- Open Energy Corp. (OTCBB: OEGY) today announced the signing of a new sales agreement with GreenSource Solutions, LLC for a 29.81 kW AC Open Energy solar BIPV system for the new, LEED Silver certified, Juliet Rice Wichman Botanical Research Center at the National Tropical Botanical Gardens in Kalaheo, Kauai, Hawaii.

The system will be comprised of 80 Open Energy Corporation SP 450 solar panels. GreenSource Solutions' President, Art Athas, a leading expert in building integrated single-ply/solar applications, has been consulting for the National Tropical Botanical Gardens for over 18 months providing guidance on third party financing, product selection, system design, and engineering.

GreenSource Solutions has chosen Commercial Roofing & Waterproofing Hawaii, Inc., their installation partner of several years, and the second largest roofing company in Hawaii, to install the new BIPV roofing system.
