Kalakauka closures set for Waikiki by Moonlight

Kalakaua Avenue, between Lewers Street and Seaside Avenue, will be closed to all vehicular traffic starting at 5:30 p.m. Fridayfor the second annual Waikiki By Moonlight.

Partial lane closures on Kalakaua Avenue will begin at 2:30 p.m.

The event, in its second year, will feature live entertainment, cultural exhibits and food booths.

It will run from 6 to 10 p.m., when some lanes will be reopened. All lanes should be open by midnight.

More than 9,000 people attended last year's event.
