Water-service interruptions scheduled on Kaua'i

Barring inclement weather, water service for properties along several roadways in East Kilauea will be shut down starting tomorrow through Tuesday, from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Residents should plan ahead for the halt in water service, which is needed so contractors can connect two new pipelines to an existing water main.The connections are part of the new Kilauea Booster Pump project that is scheduled to be completed in October.
Anyone with questions should call the Department of Water at (808) 245-5455 during business hours, 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 pm., or Police Dispatch at (808) 241-1711 after business hours.
