Hawaii Science & Technology Council to meet June 14

The Hawaii Science & Technology Council will present a 2007 legislative update June 14 at the Plaza Club from 4 to 5 p.m., followed by a mixer from 5 to 6:30 p.m.Speakers will review the impact of recent legislation on the technology sector as it applies to Act 221/215 regarding capital formation, transparency, confidentiality and other topics. The update will feature remarks from key administration and legislative leaders such as the director for the state Department of Taxation and various state lawmakers.
