SUNSET BEACH
Fund set up for victim's family

Advertiser Staff

A memorial fund has been launched to help the family of Dillon Ching, who was shot and killed during a brawl late on May 19.

Ching, 30, was trying to break up a fight near his home in Sunset Beach when shots were fired, fatally wounding him. Police have charged Dustin Kamaki Jimenez, 21, with Ching's death.

Ching is survived by his wife, Desiree, 31, and his 2 1/2-year-old son, Isaiah.

The fund was set up to help the family and especially provide for the future of Isaiah.

Donations can be made at any Bank of Hawaii branch under the name of "Friends of Dillon Ching."
