Registration tomorrow for fall hula conference

People interested in the first Waikiki International Hula Conference can get event information and register for the three-day fall event tomorrow night at Waikiki by Moonlight event on Kalakaua Avenue.From 6-10 p.m. tomorrow information will be available at the Coconut Grove Booth on Kalakaua Avenue from event producer Marnie Weeks and Toby Tamaye, Japanese public relations/marketing for the event
Waikiki by Moonlight aims to turn a section of Kalakaua Avenue into a sidewalk cafe for that night with a lineup of entertainment, crafts and food. Both events are sponsored by the Waikiki Improvement Association.
Early registration for the conference at the Hawai'i Convention Center is from May 15 to June 30. The conference is set for November 15-17. Cost is $250 for individual registration, or $200 for each registrant that is part of a group of 10 or more. After June 30, the individual rate increases to $300, and no group discounts will be available.
Cost includes workshops, stage performance and opening and closing ceremonies and includes transportation during the conference from Waikiki hotels to the Hawai'i Convention Center. On the web, find out more at www.waikikihulaconference.com
