Beach clean-up at Kawaiku'i Beach Park

Volunteers will remove invasive algae and litter along the shore at Kawaiku'i Beach Park next Friday afternoon.The clean-up is part of World Ocean Day. The event is being organized by the Beach Environmental Awareness Campaign Hawai'i, Malama Maunalua and Livable Hawai'i Kai Hu'i.
State Rep. Lyla Berg, D-18th (Kuli'ou'ou, Niu Valley, 'Aina Haina), is scheduled to speak at the event, which runs from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
