State high school girls volleyball tournament scores

Quarterfinals
Kahuku def. Kamehameha-Hawai'i, 25-17, 25-16
Leilani Tafuna had 10 kills and nine digs and Taeja Afalava added nine kills to help the Red Raiders sweep the Warriors.
Kahuku, the O'ahu Interscholatic Association runner-up, improved to 13-3. Kamehameha-Hawai'i, the Big Island Interscholastic Federation champion and No. 4 seed, fell to 14-2.
The first game was tied at 14-14 before the Red Raiders pulled away with a late run. A 7-1 spurt helped Kahuku take a 12-5 lead in the second game, then the Red Raiders stretched it to 18-8 and 21-9.
Wikolia Enos led the Warriors with eight kills.
Punahou def. Moanalua, 27-25, 25-19
Anuhea Keanini had eight kills and six digs and Lani Fonua added six kills tonight to help Punahou sweep Moanalua.
Punahou, the Interscholastic League of Honolulušs third place team, improved to 16-4 in the regular and postseason and will face ILH runner-up 'Iolani in tomorrow's 7:30 p.m. semifinal at Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium.
The match will be televised live statewide on OC16.
Moanalua, the O'ahu Interscholastic Association champion, fell to 11-5.
Kamehameha def. Roosevelt, 25-22, 25-20
Kanani Herring had seven kills and 10 digs and Alex Akana added six kills to lead the Warriors past the Rough Riders.
The ILH champion and two-time defending state champ Warriors, seeded No. 1, improved to 19-1 and will face Kahuku in tomorrow's 6 p.m. semifinal.
The match will be televised live statewide by OC16.
Roosevelt, the Oahu Interscholastic Associationšs third-place team, fell to 12-4.
'Iolani def. Kamehameha-Maui, 25-17, 25-15
Leinani Keanini had eight kills and seven digs and Chelsea Hardin and Mahina Haina each added five kills today to help 'Iolani sweep Kamehameha-Maui.
'Iolani, the Interscholastic League of Honolulu runner-up, improved to 19-2 in the regular and postseason.
The match will be televised live on OC16.
Kamehameha-Maui, the Maui Interscholastic League runner-up, fell to 10-3.

Waiakea def. Baldwin, 25-22, 25-14
Chelsey Buyuan had 10 kills and six digs to lead the Warriors to a sweep of the Bears.

At McKinley and Radford high school gyms
Quarterfinals
Hawai'i Baptist def. Waimea, 25-14, 25-10
Top-seeded Hawai'i Baptist (15-4) made quick work of Waimea to advance to the semifinals.
Sarah Palmer led the Eagles with nine kills and C'era Oliveira added five.
Hawai'i Baptist will face Moloka'i, the Maui Interscholastic League runner-up, in tomorrow's semifinal at Radford at 7:30 p.m.
Seabury Hall def. Castle, 18-25, 25-21, 25-16
After losing the first game, Seabury Hall used four dink kills during an 11-4 run in the second game and it spurred the Spartans to a victory over the Knights.
Seabury Hall, the Maui Interscholastic League champion and No. 2 seed, will play Word of Life in the semifinals tomorrow night at 7:30.
Moloka'i def. Farrington, 25-21, 23-25, 25-16
The Farmers defeated the fourth-seeded Governors to reach the semifinals.
Moloka'i's Kelsy Takashima finished with 14 kills behind a unstoppable cross-court shot and Kalei Adolpho and Vaoia Seumalo added nine each.
Word of Life def. Hilo, 25-21, 27-25
The Firebrands (14-6) swept the third-seeded Vikings (15-2) at McKinley. Word of Life will face Seabury Hall in a semifinal match tomorrow at McKinley.

University def. McKinley, 25-19, 25-16
Honoka'a plays University in the seventh-place match on Saturday at 3 p.m. at McKinley.
