Sex assault charge pending against Newtown man

A 50-year-old man was arrested today at his Newtown residence on suspicion of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy.The victim told police that alleged assault occurred Oct. 23.
The man was arrested at 11 a.m. and booked for first-degree sex assault.
