NFL: Niners RB Gore still hobbling; game-time decision

Advertiser Staff

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Frank Gore was limited again today in practice with the San Francisco 49ers, who will make a game-time decision on their Pro Bowl running back's availability for Sunday's game at Atlanta.

Gore, who sprained his ankle two weeks ago against the New York Giants, has been limited in practice all week. He managed just 41 yards against New Orleans last Sunday, giving him 435 yards rushing and three touchdowns this season.

Pro Bowl cornerback Walt Harris is doubtful for the 49ers' game against the Falcons because of a sprained knee. Harris didn't participate in any practices this week, including Friday's light workout before San Francisco's flight to Atlanta.

Receiver Darrell Jackson is expected to return to San Francisco's lineup after missing last week's game with a strained quadriceps, while left tackle Jonas Jennings is doubtful again because of a sprained ankle. Adam Snyder will start in Jennings' place.
