Mini Pow Wow today in Waikiki

For the second consecutive weekend, a free pow wow is being held. This one is a public Mini Pow Wow from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Waikiki Community Center, 310 Paoakalani Ave., to kick off Native American Heritage month in Hawaii.The event will feature dancing, singing, native foods such as frybread and crafts for sale.
Participants include dancers Mike Runningwind and Cady Ching, master of ceremonies Catcher Cuts the Rope, and arena director Tom Rowland.
