MixMix, Chinatown's new chic minimalist boutique specializing in independent international designers such as Raf Simon, holds a preview party for the Independent Island Film Festival starting at 6 tonight. Bruce Asato

The party will screen trailers of the movies to be shown at the festival, and IIFF tickets will be on sale. A DJ set will complete the evening.

The Island Independent Film Festival will run from Nov. 8 to 11, and will feature film, music, art, parties and dialog.
