All four Hawai'i surfers were eliminated from the Mancora Peru Classic women's contest yesterday at Mancora, Peru.

The second and third rounds were run in 2- to 3-foot waves.

Leilani Gryde of the Big Island was eliminated in the second round.

In the third round, Hawai'i surfers Megan Abubo, Rochelle Ballard and Melanie Bartels were eliminated.

The Peru Classic is the sixth of eight contests on the 2007 World Championship Tour for women.

The final two events will be staged in Hawai'i — the Roxy Pro at Sunset Beach (Nov. 23 to Dec. 6), and the Billabong Pro Maui at Honolua Bay (Dec. 8 to 20).
