Kakaako bookmobile open first Saturday each month

Advertiser Staff

Bill's Bookmobile, the Friends of the Library of Hawaii's year-round bookstore, which has added the first Saturday of each month to its hours of operation, will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today.

For the November Saturday Special, there will be a huge inventory of music on sale, including new (still shrink-wrapped) CDs, all priced at just $3, or 4 for $10, and vinyl records for every taste at just $2, or 6 for $10.

In addition, with the holiday season just around the corner, be sure to check out the collection of holiday books and media, which will make wonderful gifts.

Located at 690 Pohukaina St. in Kaka'ako, Bill's Bookmobile is also open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., except on state holidays.

The bookstore offers more than 2,500 gently used books, records, CDs, tapes, books on tape, videos and puzzles to choose from.

All sale proceeds will benefit Hawaii's 51 public libraries. For more information, call the Friends of the Library of Hawaii at 536-4174.
