Woman beaten unconscious at Kewalo Basin

Police today opened an assault investigation into the beating of a woman at Kewalo Basin.The woman, 33, was found unconscious at 1:11 a.m., police said.
Police arrested a man, 20, who allegedly was seen punching the victim several times in the head during a domestic argument for investigation of second-degree assault.
