Kauai basketball league signups under way

Registration is under way this week for the 2008 Boys and Girls 13 and Under Community Basketball Leagues.Signups are being accepted from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday at all county neighborhood centers — Hanapepe, Kalaheo, Kapa'a, Kekaha, Kilauea, Koloa, Lihu'e, Kaumakani and Waimea. Cost is $30 per player (check or money order only). Make checks out to Director of Finance.
The leagues are tentatively scheduled to begin in January. For more information or to volunteer to coach a team, call Clyde at 332-9770 or Aaron at 241-4465.
