Preps: SAT workshop on Sundays

The Pacific Islands Athletic Alliance will be having a SAT workshop on Nov. 11 and 18 at the University of Hawai'i's athletic center lecture hall.The classes will be held from noon to 2:30 p.m. with Raymond Karelitz, a local SAT instructor. The workshops are open to all high school students who need preparation or a refresher for the SAT or PSAT. Test-taking strategies and ways to improve scores will be covered.
Deadline for pre-registration is Nov. 7. Walk-in registration is available if space is available.
Cost is $85 for both sessions and includes two SAT books. Discounts are also available for groups or if students have taken previous courses from Karelitz.
