Hawaii professional license renewals offered online

The state Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs announced today that more than 28,000 Hawai'i professionals may now renew their licenses online at http://pvl.ehawaii.gov/renewals.The department is offering a 25 percent customer appreciation credit on the renewal fee and a 10 percent discount on the compliance resolution fund fee. The discounts are for online renewals only.

During the last renewal cycle in 2005, more than 13,000 professional license holders (about 58 percent) renewed their licenses online.
"We hope more licensees will take advantage of the discounts offered for renewing online," Licensing Administrator Noe Noe Tom said in a news release.
Instructions for completing the online renewal and details of the online discounts have been mailed to each current license holder.
Emergency Medical Technicians', Physicians' and Podiatrists' renewals will be accepted until midnight on January 31, 2008. All other online renewals this cycle will be accepted until midnight on December 31, 2007.
Late renewals will not be accepted online, but must be submitted by mail or in person to:
