Expect lane closures from Kapiolani sewer project

Crews will temporarily close lanes on several main thoroughfares this week as part of the Kapi'olani Boulevard water and sewer line replacement project.The lanes will reopen during morning and afternoon peak traffic hours, but it is unclear how long crews will shut down the lanes during the day and night.
Affected streets include Atkinson Drive, and Kaheka, Pensacola, Kona Iki, Pi'ikoi and Mahukona streets.
Drivers should expect 24-hour lane closures on Kapi'olani Boulevard between Atkinson Drive and Kamake'e Street. Lanes closed on Kapi'olani between Ke'eaumoku and Pi'ikoi streets have been reopened.
