South shore waves up, poor conditions persist
Advertiser Staff
The south shore of O'ahu saw wave faces of 6 feet to 10 feet this morning but few surfers took advantage of the surf because of poor conditions, said Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the city's lifeguards."There are definitely waves but they're completely blown out," Cheplic said. "It's terrible. There is hardly anybody out there."
South shore beaches are also seeing the remnants of Sunday's monthly box jellyfish invasion, Cheplic said.
