  • Defensive tackle Ma'ake Kemoeatu of Carolina, a Kahuku High alum, had two tackles in the Panthers' 20-7 loss to Tennessee.

  • Defensive end Travis LaBoy of Tennessee, a University of Hawai'i alum, had one sack and one interception in the Titans' 20-7 win against Carolina.

  • Kicker Jason Elam of Denver, a UH alum, was 1 for 1 on his extra-point attempts in the Broncos' 44-7 loss to Detroit.

  • Safety Aaron Francisco of Arizona, a Kahuku High alum, had one tackle in the Cardinals' 17-10 loss to Tampa Bay.

  • Linebacker Jeff Ulbrich of San Francisco, a UH alum, had five tackles and one assist in the 49ers' 20-16 loss to Atlanta.

  • Punter Mat McBriar of Dallas, a UH alum, punted twice for a 42.5-yard average and long of 46 yards in the Cowboys' 38-17 win over Philadelphia.

  • Right guard Chris Naeole of Jacksonville, a Kahuku High alum, sprained his left knee in the first quarter against the New Orleans Saints. Vince Manuwai, a Farrington High and UH alum, replaced Naeole.
