Big Island man wins $1,000 from 'Millionaire' show

A Kailua, Kona resident today won $1,000 as part of the daytime "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" week-long celebration commemorating the filming of the 1,000th episode this month.Jerome Fagg of the Big Island was announced a winner on today's show, aired on KHNL-8, as one of 20 daily recipients of $1,000, in the show's "Millionaire's Grand Giveaway Sweepstakes." Home viewers had to register at www.millionairetv.com to be eligible for the 20 winners randomly chosen from yesterday through this Friday for a $100,000 payout by the game show hosted by Meredith Vieira.
