Debris cleanup shuts 1 lane on 2 Kam Highway bridges

Traffic will be contraflowed today on the Waikane Stream in Ka'alalea Stream bridges along Kamehameha Highway near Waikane Valley Road for storm debris cleanup work under the bridges.One lane on each bridge will be closed until about 3 p.m. as work crews use excavators to clear mud, trees and debris washed down from the valley in the recent heavy rains.
Traffic will be contraflowed in the remaining open lanes.
