North, south shores should see surf of 4-7 feet today

Surf along the north-facing shores is on the way up and is expected to reach 4 to 7 feet today, according to the National Weather Service.

Surf along west-facing shores will be rising to 3 to 5 feet today, forecasters said.

Surf along east-facing shores will be 2 to 5 feet today, while south-facing shores can expect surf of 4 to 7 feet.

The south swell will continue to subside slowly through Thursday. A series of small to moderate northwest swells will begin to arrive Wednesday and continue through the weekend.
