Benefit dinner will honor pioneers of Hawaii tourism

A benefit dinner will honor 26 pioneers of Hawai'i tourism with a dinner at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 20, and a new hall of fame at the Hawai'i Convention Center

The School of Travel Industry Management (TIM) at the University of Hawai'i and its International Alumni Association, together with the newly formed Hawai'i Hospitality Hall of Fame, will honor iconic industry leaders at the "Celebrate a Legacy in Tourism" benefit dinner.

The names of the honorees (the husband and wife team of Roy and Estelle Kelley are listed on one plaque) will be enshrined on a "Wall of Fame" adjacent to the center's third floor ballroom.

All proceeds for this event benefit the School of Travel Industry Management at UH. Sponsored tables for groups of ten are Platinum ($5,000), Gold ($3,500) and Silver ($1,750).
