A new 500,000-gallon water storage tank, booster pumps and connecting pipelines have been installed to meet the needs of the growing Kalaheo community. Next week, the new pipeline and tank will be connected to the existing water system.

The work will take place from 9 a.m. Nov. 14 to midnight Nov. 15. While the work is being done, Kalaheo residents may experience reduced pressure and even water outages.

To minimize fluctuations, residents are asked to reduce water usage during this period. For more information, call the Water Department at 245-5455.
