Mos Def to record Sunday Pipeline Cafe show for DVD

Multi-tasking hip-hop artist and actor Mos Def's concert at Pipeline Cafe on Sunday will be filmed for a future DVD release.Tickets for the 9 p.m. concert are $30 pre-sale and $50 for VIP room access, available for purchase at www.presaleticketsonline.com.
Pipeline Cafe general manager Jed Roa said that Mos Def is the biggest act to schedule a recording of a live concert DVD at the Kakaako nightclub. The concert will also be the first solo show Mos Def has filmed for DVD release.
Mos Def was last in Honolulu for a concert in April at Pipeline Cafe.
