Recording arts academy's annual meeting to be Monday

The Hawaii Academy of Recording Arts, which presents the annual Na Hoku Hanohano Awards, will hold its annual membership meeting from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at The Willows, 901 Hausten St.Current academy members may attend, as well as prospective members who want to join with qualifying music-industry credentials.
Newly elected board of governors members John Aeto, Keola Donaghy, Pali Kaaihue and Kimo Alama Keaulana will be introduced and installed, joining returning governors Hala Farden, president; Kuuipo Kumukahi, vice president; Lea Uehara, secretary; Alan Yoshioka, treasurer; and Gaylord Holomalia, Kenneth Makuakane and Jacqueline Skylark Rossetti.
A buffet luncheon ($26) will be served.
