Volunteers needed for 2008 PGA Tour event

The 2008 Mercedes-Benz Championship is seeking volunteers for the PGA Tour event, to be held Dec. 31 to Jan. 6 at Kapalua's Plantation Course.

Volunteers are needed for on-course marshals, spectator control, walking scorers, admissions and information, and drivers for on-road and on-course transportation. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.

People who work at least three shifts receive a golf cap or visor, a tournament shirt and a complimentary round of golf at the Bay Course. All volunteers receive admission to the tournament throughout the week, in addition to a season pass for a friend or family member.
