Surf up to 9 feet expected on North Shore today

Surf of 6 feet to 9 feet is expected along north-facing beaches on O'ahu today, according to the National Weather Service.Elsewhere, look for surf of 4 feet to 7 feet along west-facing shores; 2 feet to 4 feet along east-facing shores; and 3 feet to 6 feet along south-facing shores.
A series of moderate size northwest swells are expected to reach the Islands during the next several days. The next northwest swell is due to arrive on Tuesday.
