Man arrested in Waikiki after police officer punched

A 19-year-old man is in police custody after allegedly punching a police officer in the face. The man was arrested in Waikiki late Friday night.Police first spotted the man acting disorderly on the street near the intersection of Seaside and Kuhio avenues, they said.
The man fled, but when officers caught up with him, he turned and punched one in the face.
The man was held on first-degree assault charges. The injuries to the officer were minor, police said.
