Sunny weather expected throughout the weekend

A high-pressure area north of the state will keep moderate trade winds blowing through the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

A few showers affecting mainly the windward areas could materialize, forecasters said.

A drier air mass will remain over the state into the coming week.

Here's what to expect during the long weekend:

i Today, mostly sunny. Highs 80 to 85. East winds 10 to 15 mph.

i Tonight, mostly clear with isolated showers. Lows 67 to 74. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

i Veterans Day, mostly sunny with isolated showers. Highs 80 to 85. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

i Sunday night, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 67 to 72. East winds around 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

i Monday, mostly sunny with isolated showers. Highs 80 to 85. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
